How it works
Choose what you need, then share your location or type a city or ZIP code. Mae Helps shows places near you from its own directory, with hours, phone numbers, and directions.
Every search, anywhere in the 50 states and Washington, D.C., also shows national help lines and state program directories run by government agencies and national nonprofits, such as 211, the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline, and USDA food assistance. Where Mae Helps doesn't yet have a listing near you, those services come first, so a search never ends with nowhere to turn.
Where listings come from
Mae Helps' own listings are added by our team from public sources and reviewed before they appear. Each one shows its status: “Mae Verified” means its information was reviewed through Mae's verification process on the date shown, and “Community Listed” means it hasn't completed verification yet. Hours and services change, so call ahead when you can.
Free, always
Finding help on Mae Helps is free. There is no account, no fee, and no paid tier, and organizations can't pay to appear higher in results.
Not an emergency service
Mae Helps can't send help. If you are in immediate danger, call 911 or your local emergency number. Crisis lines are listed on the I Need Help Now page and are available any time.
Who runs Mae Helps
Mae Helps is an initiative of Fullmore Taylor Legacy Group LLC, built in loving memory of Mae Fullmore.
